The Boy:
At first he
is nervous and feels sick. He gets a physical reaction of his action and has no
contact with his feelings. He shuts down. He is like a machine and after he
shoots the first Kangaroo, he finds out that the experience was not like he has
expected. It was easier because he does not fell anything at all. In the end the
boy feels empty and dead but reacts by tears. He cannot control his emotions
inside.
He is a
little boy, who wants to become a man. He follows the man’s instructions, by
shooting the Kangaroos. He is a human being, who becomes a machine without any
feelings.
